Tonight started off really well. The Twins looked to get a rare win, up by 5 runs entering the eighth inning. However, the win slipped just out of reach after the bullpen and Morneau made sure to do their part to choke away the win. Despite another Twins loss, there was a bright spot. Fireworks! And I had my camera and tripod ready and waiting. So maybe this was rather challenging to capture the "perfect" photo, but it was so much fun to try. Exposure is such an interesting balancing act when dealing with bright light in darkness. This will be a photo you can guarantee will be experimented with many more times as the fireworks season is now upon us. All in all, not bad for a first attempt.
