This may be among the last things I expected to photograph today. I went for a walk around the path behind my place to see what interesting subject might present itself. Well the mosquitos made shooting uncomfortable but I hung in there just long enough to come across this guy. He was off the main walking path just chillin' in the middle of the worn dirt path. Quite obviously, he wasn't going much of anywhere all too quickly. So I had time to setup the composition and get the desired shot. Sometimes random surprises pop up and make for a pretty cool photo. Thanks goes to the turtle for taking a stroll!
